trio where bay windows are presented as an academic design exercise-a
square, a semicircle, and a triangle-creating a picturesque ensemble. Back
to back through the block, the same grouping occurs similarly at 11-17
Polhemus Place. The voussoirs might be studied for their lively bas
reliefs, particularly at No. 14. |
