notes

Hi, Tom!

Maybe I can help. If you are standing at the end of Mott Street, where it joins Bowery and Worth, you can see both complexes. Straight ahead--behind the police baricade--is my complex, Chatham Green, which includes 165, 185 and 215 Park Row. It's actually one long, s-shaped brick building of 21 stories. (I was told it was once given a prestigious architectural award.)

The other complex---to your right---would be the more modern, concrete-surfaced Chatham Towers. There is a picture of these buildings, labeled incorrectly as Chatham Green, on the NYC Architecture website.

Hope this helps!
